Target and intention |
Inadequate provision of drinking water and sanitary facilities has far-reaching consequences for human nutrition and health. The target of the Federal Government is that ten million people worldwide should, with German support, obtain access to drinking water and sanitation each year up to 2030. This target has now been further refined, and now six million people worldwide are to obtain access to drinking water with German support each year until 2030, while four million people in the world are to obtain access to sanitation each year with German support. |
